My husband, Dave, and I enjoy following and supporting our 4 children (Haley, Brayden, Zach and Prosy, our daughter from Uganda). Our family enjoys music, sports, traveling, outdoor activities, animals and new experiences of all kinds!

I am my daughters' #1 fan when it comes to their activities. I enjoy watching various sporting events, bowling, being outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Hugo Madera, Director of Traditional Music
Originally from Jalisco, Mexico, Hugo Madera is a choral composer, conductor, educator and clinician based in Nebraska, United States. He is the director of the choral ensembles at Adams Central High School and First United Methodist Church in Hastings, Nebraska, as well as the Minden Chorale in Minden, Nebraska.
As a composer, Hugo Madera aims to provide a new perspective on Latin-American choral music by creating a bridge between the two cultures, implementing musical elements and styles influenced by a diverse choral background.

Barbara Sergeant, Organist
Besides my great interest in Music, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. In my spare time, I like to make quilts, crochet, knit, and do needlepoint.

Joe Vanderpool, Contemporary Music Coordinator/Technology Coordinator
I am involved in softball, spending time with family and friends and participating in and watching various sports.

Brad Hartman, Maintenance Engineer
Enjoys all sports, hunting, fishing, weight lifting, and spending time with his daughter. Also, working for FUMC as one of his 2 jobs is both rewarding and uplifting as he loves doing things for the church.

Janet Schmidt, Custodian
Problem solving and learning new things tops my list of fun activities. My working at the church, family history, family consumer science topics, home repair, travel, book clubs and bible studies help fill the problem solving and learning curve!

Deana Flint, Part-time Cleaning
Spending quality time with friends and church family is very uplifting. I enjoy meeting new people and building friendships. I also enjoy taking care of the church, it is very rewarding.
